Gosau is the largest ski region of Upper Austria and offers many winter sports activities surrounded by unspoiled nature.
Here children and adults have lots of fun in sports and nature.
Skiing in Gosau (Dachstein West) offers an impressive mountain view, great slopes, modern lifts and inexpensive skitickets. A total of 142 well-groomed downhill runs of all difficulty levels are available in the ski region Dachstein West. Rustic huts and untouched nature invite you to linger.
Cross-country skiers are waiting for almost 50 km of groomed trails. Skaters can run on the separate track. Along the cross-country ski trails there are numerous possibilities for relaxation!
Touring skiers and snowshoe hikers will experience a fascinating landscape around the Dachstein Massif.
For families with children: In the Brumsiland directly at the valley station of the Hornspitz-Express in Gosau, even small children can learn to ski. Between fairytale figures and then quickly over the snow-waves - so the first turns really make fun. Going uphill with the magic carpet. At the valley station of the Hornlift, childcare is offered for children from one year in the "Spatzennest".
Friends of nature will love Gosau with the Gosau lake, from where you have a wonderful view of the Dachstein, in spring and summer. Numerous excursion destinations, alpine hikes, mountain and / or climbing tours await you.

In the summer season (mid-May to late October) the Gosaukammbahn is open!
